Hello!

As my student license for Photoshop CS5.5 is expiring I am looking for an affordable alternative.
In my search I stumbled upon Elements 11 and I was wondering if this is any good?

Do any of you have any experience with Elements 11? Does it support Noise Ninja / Photo Ninja? And is it as useful for processing aviation photography as Photoshop?

My other alternative is Photoshop CS3 which my dad owns. The downside is that it can't open .NEF files. I am afraid CS3 is too old and when using a DNG converter I will lose image quality.

So it's between Elements 11 or Photoshop CS3... if anyone knows another cheapish alternative please share!

I use PSE 11 and find it less good than the previous editions but still ok for post processing. It does everything you need it to, to get a picture up to scratch for upload.
