'Morning all!
Just a quick message about entering information that isn't in the autofill. They're small things that are always checked in screening and are usually corrected, but it's a few less things for us to do if all info is entered correctly when the image is uploaded.
Firstly, please try ensure there are no spaces at the end of information you enter. The reason for this is that any blank spaces at the end of the info will either create a new entry in the search (if the space is at the end of an airline name) or mean the search won't pick the info up at all (if the space is at the end of any of the other fields), so to make it easier to find your photos in the search the info needs to be entered without an additional space at the end.
Secondly, if you're uploading military aircraft or aircraft belonging to national organisations then please enter these as the country followed by the operator. So for example:
An RAF aircraft would be entered as
United Kingdom - Royal Air ForceSomething operated by the USAF would be entered as
United States - US Air ForceDifferent sites have slightly different ways of entering this info so it will generally be corrected rather than causing a rejection, but it would really help us in screening if the format of information is correct when the image is uploaded. If you're unsure of how to enter the information then you can always check in the search engine on the front page, what you're trying to upload may already be in the database so you might be able to find the format from that. Alternatively, just leave us a note in the 'Comments To Screeners' field on the Upload page giving as much information as you can and we'll make the appropriate changes when screening.
Cheers guys!
Paul
